Ruben Socarras selected in 2018 Florida Super Lawyers

Ruben E. Socarras, a founder and member of Chane Socarras, PLLC (CSLaw) has been selected to the 2018 edition of Florida Super Lawyers list.  This marks the 9th year straight that Mr. Socarras has been recognized in the Super Lawyers (and Rising Stars) list. The Super Lawyers list, which is issued  by Thomson Reuters, is an attorney rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who reach a high-degree of peer recognition from colleagues and professional achievement. The annual selection process involves a multiphase selection process – peer nominations and evaluations are combined with independent research. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, and selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis.

At CSLaw, Mr. Socarras is devoted to representing individuals and businesses in state and federal courts throughout Florida and the U.S. in a variety of complex business, commercial, and civil litigation cases, including contract, corporate, real estate, employment, and other civil litigation matters. In addition to being a skilled litigator, Mr. Socarras’ diverse practice includes advising clients in the areas of business and corporate law, and he routinely provides representation to various companies throughout the U.S. on how to avoid litigation, or when necessary, preserve and pursue their rights once litigation is necessary.  Along with being named as a Florida Super Lawyer 2010-2018, he has achieved an AV Preeminent Rating from Martingale-Hubbell, he was named in Florida Trend’s Florida Legal Elite Up and  Comer for 2016, he was a  finalist for the 2015 SFBW Up & Comer Awards, and named in ALM South Florida’s Top Rated Lawyers in 2012.  He is involved in a number of legal associations and is active in charitable organizations benefiting the South Florida community. Mr. Socarras received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 2000, and earned his law degree from Stetson University College of Law in 2003.
