Ruben E. Socarras named to 2014 Florida Super Lawyers, Rising Stars List

Ruben E. Socarras, one of its Managing Members was elected for a fifth consecutive year to the Florida Super Lawyers, Rising Stars list in the area of Business Litigation. While up to five percent of the lawyers in Florida are named to Super Lawyers, no more than 2.5 percent are named to the Rising Stars list.
Mr. Socarras is devoted to representing individuals and businesses throughout Florida in a variety of complex business, commercial, and civil litigation cases, including contract, collections, real estate, torts, bankruptcy, employment, construction, insurance, wrongful death and personal injury matters. In addition to being a skilled litigator, Mr. Socarras’ diverse practice includes advising clients in the areas of business and corporate law, and he provides representation to fiduciaries in state or federal court, such as bankruptcy trustees and receivers.
Along with being named one of South Florida’s Top Rated Lawyers and Florida Super Lawyers, Rising Stars in 2010-2014 in Business Litigation, he has achieved an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He is involved in a number of legal associations and is active in charitable organizations benefiting the local community. He currently serves as President and Board of Director of a non-profit organization that provides dream trips of their choice to children stricken with serious medical conditions, and is actively involved with the University of Florida Alumni Association. He is also fluent in Spanish.
