Ruben represents clients in complex commercial litigation, arbitration, mediation, and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings throughout the United States. He advises businesses across a broad range of industries, including internet law, advertising, affiliate and performance marketing, technology, healthcare, staffing, insurance, marine, private aviation, hospitality, property management, and real estate development.

Drawing on extensive litigation experience, Ruben counsels clients not only in resolving complex business disputes, but also in proactively minimizing litigation risk before disputes arise. In addition to his litigation practice, he serves as outside general counsel to numerous businesses, advising on day-to-day legal matters, contract drafting and negotiation, corporate governance, and strategic business transactions. Ruben also serves as a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator and Florida Supreme Court Qualified Arbitrator, providing clients with a unique perspective on dispute resolution from both the advocate’s and neutral’s viewpoints.

Ruben earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida in 2000 and his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 2003. He is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He is a member of The Florida Bar, the South Palm Beach County Bar Association, and the Broward County Bar Association.

Ruben has earned Martindale-Hubbell’s AV Preeminent® rating, the organization’s highest peer-review distinction for legal ability and professional ethics. He has been selected to Florida Super Lawyers each year from 2010 through 2026, including recognition as a Rising Star during his first five years of eligibility. Ruben was also recognized in The Best Lawyers in America® 2026 edition for Commercial Litigation and was named one of Florida Trend’s Florida Legal Elite in both 2020 and 2021.

In addition, Ruben is a member of the Internet Law Leadership Summit (ILLS), an invitation-only organization comprised of leading attorneys from across the United States who practice in the areas of internet law, technology, and intellectual property and meet semi-annually to discuss emerging legal issues and industry developments.
