Ruben E. Socarras selected to 2015 Florida Super Lawyers for Business Litigation, and finalist for SFBW’s 2015 Up & Comer Awards

Ruben E. Socarras has been named to the 2015 edition of Florida Super Lawyers in the area of Business Litigation, and selected as a finalist for South Florida Business & Wealth (SFBW) magazine’s 2015 Up & Comer Awards taking place on June 18, 2015 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Up & Comer Awards will showcase the community’s top leaders and rising stars under the age of 40 in their respective fields.

Ruben E. Socarras is devoted to representing individuals and businesses in state and federal courts throughout Florida in a variety of complex business, commercial, and civil litigation cases, including contract, corporate, real estate, employment, insurance, wrongful death and personal injury matters. In addition to being a skilled litigator, Mr. Socarras’ diverse practice includes advising clients in the areas of business and corporate law, and he routinely provides representation to various companies in South Florida on how to avoid litigation, or when necessary, preserve and pursue their rights once litigation is necessary.  Along with being named as a Florida Super Lawyer and a finalist for SFBW Up & Comer Awards, Mr. Socarras has been included in Florida Super Lawyers’ Rising Stars list 2010-2014 in the practice area of Business Litigation, ALM South Florida’s Top Rated Lawyers in 2012, and he has achieved an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He is involved in a number of legal associations and is active in charitable organizations benefiting the South Florida community. Mr. Socarras received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, and earned his law degree from Stetson University College of Law.
